How does POWERCOOL work?
The fleece absorbs water within seconds. This water evaporates when exposed to heat, creating evaporative cooling that cools the body naturally and according to the ambient temperature. The system is designed so that water does not escape from the fabric, even under mechanical stress. The cooling adapts to the ambient temperature and can cool the body by up to 12°C, with the effect lasting up to 20 hours.
Where is POWERCOOL used?
POWERCOOL is primarily used in workplaces where high ambient temperatures threaten the health and safety of employees. For example, the German Employers' Liability Insurance Association (Berufsgenossenschaft) recommends wearing cooling garments to ensure that employees can work at optimum performance and concentration in high temperatures.
