Polyamide cast PA 6 G
Cast polyamides (PA 6 cast) are particularly high molecular weight, highly crystalline thermoplastics.
The production is purely chemical. In the casting process, a controlled chemical reaction in special moulds polymerises directly into semi-finished products. Additives such as oil, solid lubricant or heat stabilizers can be used to adjust the typical properties of cast polyamide to specific applications. This means that a tailor-made range of materials is available for a wide range of applications.

PA 6 cast iron + MoS2 black
By adding MoS2, an increase in the degree of crystallinity is achieved, which gives the cast polyamide higher strength without a significant reduction in toughness. Furthermore, the increase in the degree of crystallinity of this PA 6 casting leads to improved surface hardness and better abrasion properties than standard PA 6 castings.
PA 6 cast + oil
An oil-filled Type 6 cast nylon used in applications where excellent bearing and wear characteristics are required and external lubrication is difficult or impractical to implement. It offers excellent wear and abrasion resistance, resulting in longer component life and lower maintenance costs.
